What is a Bold Conversation?
Many conversations are surface conversations, and yes, they get things done but just below the surface the conversations that really matter await our voice. These are the conversations that more than get things done, they transform the way we are in the world, we achieve great things by daring to speak our dreams and ideas and we form connections to others that sustain us during the best and worst of times. Our organizations need to engage in purposeful conversations that evoke the best creativity, thinking and right action from their leaders, employees, clients and stakeholders. These are conversations that harness the energy in community and conflict both to generate breakthrough ideas and products.

Bold Conversations with the FutureEmerging Futures™ - an invitation to the Boldest Conversation
What is Emerging Futures™ work? It is a comprehensive, strategic inquiry around three powerful questions that requires a bold conversation within your organization. Guided by me and my colleague Mark Sobol you will work with three pivotal questions that form the basis for your inquiry:
- What is our organization's likely future emerging to be?
- How will we evolve our organization into the future we choose (rather than have future happen to us)?
- During this creative shift toward this future what will be required of me as a leader?
