Stress is a fact of life – and work.
Over the last 25 to 30 years researchers have discovered that the mind and the body are intimately connected.
It is now known that thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and stress all have a great impact on health and illness.
There aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything.
You have competing commitments at work and at home.
You worry...about a lot of things!
Exercise and diet are important but you don’t see how you can spare the time.
You find yourself often being short tempered and irritable.
It is becoming difficult to achieve the clarity you need to make the best decisions.
You can’t sleep because you can’t turn off your mind.
You realize that you are missing your life, fun, friends and your family.
If this sounds like you, it’s time you did something to manage your stress and build resiliency, something that works long term and that you can incorporate into your life right now. If you accept that "stress happens" then get ready to be pro-active about nurturing your wellbeing.

How this works:
Each week you will have a one-hour private telephone consultation (by appointment) with Michael. Focusing on one wellness area each month, Michael will show you how to weave the four domains of resiliency into your life. He will support you between sessions via email so you maintain your commitment and momentum. In between sessions, you will have fieldwork and practices that will reinforce the changes you want to make in your life.
During your first session you will agree upon goals and objectives for your program. During this month you and Michael will identify the underlying causes of stress in your life and work and understand more about what triggers you. You will learn reframing techniques that build a more resilient cognitive process – how you think about the events that cause stress and the assumptions and beliefs that keep you stressed.
You will work on developing alternative behaviors that help you maintain a calm and centered attitude even during stress provoking situations. Michael will teach you somatic practices that are easy to use at any time and anywhere. By consistently practicing these you will feel more energized and you will notice that others respond more positively to you and to your ideas.
Emotions play a significant role in building resiliency and managing your stress. Michael will assist you in identifying emotional triggers that have you stuck in reactive mode. He will teach you ways of building compassion and understanding for yourself and others and how to enlist your heart to build connection and trust at work and at home.
With Michael you will explore what truly matters to you, where you find meaning and personal fulfillment and how to bring a greater sense of purpose to your daily life. You will discover new ways of aligning with your essential self and your values. As one of the foremost yoga and wellness professionals in the world, Michael is an expert in creating reflective practices that enlist all four domains – Mind, Body, Heart and Spirit. You may identify new interests, tap forgotten dreams or create a new future story for yourself.
