Assess, Plan, Practice, Measure, Sustain
Every coaching engagement is unique, however generally we include the following phases to ensure that our partnership with you fulfills or exceeds your expectations.
Preliminary Interview
– Whether our engagement is with an individual or a team or group of leaders, we schedule a preliminary interview with more than one coach to match the client(s) with the coach that the client can trust and whose experience supports the client’s development.
Assessment
– Through the use of narrative interviews and/or assessment instruments we analyze the client’s current level against the desired state to tailor a coaching engagement appropriately. We include interviews with a representative of the organization to assure an alignment with organizational strategies and desired competencies.
Customized Leadership Plan
– Using the assessment results as benchmarking we collaboratively create a leadership development plan that draws upon current leadership thinking and inquires into the client’s thinking patterns, beliefs and values as fundamental to inspired leadership.
Coaching Sessions – Our coaches will meet with clients in person or via telephone as agreed upon. Each session will include dialogue, provocative inquiry and
development of new practices and fieldwork. Results accelerate by building self-awareness and challenging the client to think and behave in new ways. As an active wisdom partner, the coach is
able to support the client through e-mail and short real-time phone calls and may share additional resources as appropriate.
Benchmark
– Periodically through the coaching engagement, an informal assessment is made between the coach and the client(s) to assess progress, areas for refocus and to determine any adjustments necessary to achieve he desired outcome.
Conclusion
– At the conclusion of the engagement, a final assessment may be conducted with the client(s) and the organization’s representative to determine the results and to plan future actions that support the integration of new learning. We may provide on-going support through options that include quarterly coaching sessions, the use of the Leadership Circle Follow Through Tool®, expanded group coaching or other customizable options.
